Obituary For Jack Rigley
John W. (Jack) Rigley, 66, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28 in Fremont, CA.
He was born in Schenectadyn, New York on January 27, 1958 and was the son of the late John J. and Dorothy (Turner) Rigley. He was a 1976 graduate of Niskayuna High School, where he was selected as a National Merit Finalist. After attending the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, he graduated from Union College in 1982 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After living in Torrance, CA, Manhattan Beach, CA and New Hartford, NY, he returned to northern California in 1990, residing in Mountain View and later Fremont, CA. He was employed as an engineer by several companies, including Hughes Aircraft, General Electric and Quick Turn Systems.
He is survived by his daughter, Danyel Best of Fremont, CA, and younger brothers Thomas Rigley of Niskayuna, Gary Rigley of South Bend, Indiana, and Richard Rigley of Chicago.
A celebration of life will be held in Fremont, California on Monday, January 27, which would have been his 67th birthday.
