One of my most favorite memories of my uncle Bobby is when he'd stop by on his trucking jobs and spend the night with us. He always had sodas and candy for us. And oh Lord, his laugh was so infectious that it made everyone laugh right along with him. My sweet uncle, kiss Sylvia, grandma, grandpa, auntie Elvira, Janice, and everyone we love who's gone on to Heaven ❤️ I miss you all so much! Love, your Niece, Yolanda

I am the son of Odelia M and Albert J Holmon Jr. Uncle Bobby to me has always been bigger than life. I would listen and wait with much excitement to hear "Unc" and Aunt Sylvia roll into town on their Harley ready to commune and celebrate life with all of us. I choose to turn his graduation into one of joy remembering the joy he brings to me by being my Uncle Bobby.

My fondest memory of my Uncle was how he never tired of piling us kids on the back of his motorcycle and spinning us around the corner. We loved him and he loved us. I love you Uncle Bobby! I will miss you and see you again in heaven.

While I didn't grow up with my dad, my first real memory of him was from a visit he had with us, when we lived in Long Beach. We were driving down Cherry, along side a cemetary, and I pointed at something in it. Dad grabbed my pointer finger and bit it, saying to never point at graves. He left soon after. From that time til I was an adult, I'd fold my fingers into palm, just to ensure no pointing. The things we remember!
