Obituary For James Brooks Taylor III "Jimbo"

James Brooks Taylor III known to most as Jim Taylor, of Fremont California, passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2019 at the age of 72. He was the loving husband of June Taylor, they shared 55 wonderful years together.

He is survived by his wife June Taylor, and two daughters Renee Champoux and Lisa Souza. He dearly loved his three grandchildren, James and Jordan Souza and Noah Champoux.

Jim served our country in Vietnam on the USS Ranger as an Aviation Machinist. He was well known and respected as the business owner of Taylor’s Antiques and Furniture Restoration. He will be remembered for the passion he had for his family, fishing, playing the guitar and his love for the outdoors. Anyone who knew Jim, knows he had a larger than life presence.

Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd. Fremont at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2019. Burial will follow at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward on Tuesday, March 19, 2019.

The family of Jim Taylor wishes to extend our sincere gratitude to all of those who will honor him by celebrating his life.

    I have lived across the street from Taylor for 24 years. I have camped with with him and snow skied with him and have had a beer or two with him. My house faces his and I see him almost every day. I miss him so much!!!! I miss his smile hello his presence ! I know he is in heaven now but still miss him dearly! God bless you my brother!
