Entered into rest on February 13, 2012 in Fremont at the age of 50. Father of Janice Owen. Brother of Shirley Krankenberg, Geri Hampshire, Ron Owen, and Rand Owen. Fiancé of Lorianne Walker. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts. Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Donna Owen.

Born October 10, 1961 in Castro Valley, Jim's hobbies included cooking, biking and socializing. He loved the outdoors, especially camping and jet skiing. In his

last year Jim thoroughly enjoyed two trips to the Cayman Islands. He will be sorely missed by his family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 12pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Donations may be made to the East Bay SPCA-Oakland, 8323 Baldwin Street, Oakland, CA 94621.
