I will always remember when Janie and the family moved next door to us back in the late 70's. She became To me a second mom. She was the coolest mom ever growing up. She took us and picked us up from the skating rink and movies, the mall or wherever we needed to go. She was always there. I had so many great memories of her and the family and she always looked after me and my family. I spent more time over her house than I did my own and she always welcomed me. I have so many wonderful memories and will never forget her kind heart and energetic spirit. You will be missed Janie and I'm so blessed to have been a part of your life growing up. Live and miss you.

This is hard to believe. May you rest in peace Jane.
I have the best memory from you. When our house caught fire you and your family were there for us, no questions asked. You gave us a place to stay while we were in and out of hotels. You helped us repair our home. Truly the greatest person to know, yes you!
I will forever be grateful to you.
You will be tremendously missed. But are now reunited with Mr. Bob Simons

Thank you all for your notes . I had read some and others I read for the first time tonight . Mom was a wonderful warm human being. I wish she was still here so I could enjoy her and appreciate her even more for who she was. She had such wonderful friends and she always always always spoke of her friends she would reach with. You all helped each other and what a great feeling to know mom was part of such a great group of people. And her family meant the world to her. When mom was able to still write well, no birthday , Christmas , graduation or any event ever went without a card from mom. I could only hope to be half the woman she was. Thank you all again for loving mom the way do.
