Entered into rest on August 14, 2013 at the age of 87. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Preceded in death by her husband Olin Sohm, son Joseph Sohm, and grandson Thomas Ekbom. Beloved mother to David Sohm, Barbara Ekbom, Jim Sohm, and Margaret Miranda. Survived by her grandchildren Sarah, Jill, Moa, Emil, Jason, Daniel, and Carly, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Jane was born on October 6, 1925 in Sinton, TX. After graduating from Texas Women?s University, she moved to California in 1946 to marry Olin, and together they settled in Fremont where they raised their family. She worked for the Fremont Unified School District as a special education classroom aide. She nurtured, inspired, and encouraged each member of her family by recognizing their unique qualities and fostering their individual talents and interests. Jane was greatly appreciated and loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
