  I will always remember you Jan. You were someone in the world of dogs I deeply respected. You and Walt were key people in my early dog show days with the Sammies. I always looked up to you and appreciated your wisdom. You were positive, funny and offered an unending supply of encouragement. You will be dearly missed. I know you have now been reunited with all your precious Sammies who were waiting for you at the Bridge. May God's love surround you all and comfort Walt as he now goes on without you.   Jan Kauzlarich was dedicated to her family, which included Walt and her lovely Samoyed dogs. She wrote a great book in the '70's and was active is the first push to screen Samoyed dogs for genetic defects. She was a wealth of knowledge about genetics and pedigrees. Most of all, I remember the holidays with Jan & Walt & my kids. I am relieved that her recent suffering from health issues is over. My love & prayers go out to Walt, Diane, Julie & Marlene, and most of all their Samoyed dogs.
