I remember Jean as a friend of my Mom's (Emogene Davis) from Union City. Jean had a very distinct "Boston accent". My mother enjoyed their friendship.

I am so sorry to hear of Jeanne’s passing. She was a good friend of my mother, Gertie Corchero. They say with each other at Our Lady of the Rosary every Saturday night. Father José use to tease them for talking so loud. The last time I saw Jeanne was at my mom’s funeral in 2018. Jeanne took it pretty hard. She lived pictures of my pups abs my daughter. She was very generous too always donating money to the OKR school when my sister, Claudia Orozco, taught there. I am sure her family is missing her. She only wanted the best for her children and grandchildren. Rest in Paradise Jeanne. You and mom can go to church together again.

I waited on Jeanne many, many times at the Bank in Union City. She was a joy to know and I was sorry to hear of her passing. I was in the New Accounts area of the bank for over 20 years, so knew Jeanne for a long time. My condolences. Mary Fontes
