John D. Cantieni, of Fremont, passed away on August 9, 2022 at the age of 91. He is survived by his wife Faye Cantieni (Culpepper), his sons Dennis and Randal Cantieni and daughter Lorrie Peterson (Alan). Grandchildren Derek Cantieni, Cassandra Cantieni Delgato, Dennis Cantieni Jr., Eric Peterson (Rachel), Katie Walt (John), Lindsey Straton, Randal Jr., Cody, Ethan and Jackie Cantieni. Great Grandchildren Mia and Maisie Cantieni, Nathan Delgato, Elsie, Nora and Ruby Peterson, Zamira, Isaiah and Dorian Walt, Lily Murphy as well as many other nieces, nephews and Great nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by his parents, John & Fida Cantieni, sisters Joan MacMillian and Margaret Schermesser.

John was a Jet Engine inspector for United Airlines for 37 years. He retired in 1992. John loved watching the Oakland A’s, reading a good book and walking his dog.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 15th, 10am with a Funeral Service to begin at 11am at Echo Church, 41386 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94538.
