Obituaries

John Steven Paul passed away on May 9, 2023 at the age of 64.

John grew up in Fremont most of his life. He is the youngest of 6 children. Jimmy, Lois, Chuck, Ruth, and Carol. In his adult years he moved to Livermore for about 18 years then moved back to Fremont. John was married to Shelley and had three children, Tosha, Neil, and Aaron. He had three grandkids he adored, Jaxsen, Bradley, and Amillia. He had a love of old muscle cars and music; his favorite musicians were Neil Young and John Lennon. He found a career at Safeway in Newark that he truly loved. When John had to retire, he was still very involved with the union always checking to see what he was missing out on, so it was like he wasn't retired.

John was loved by many and will be missed greatly.
