Isabel, Melanie, Gary and family,
Words cannot express what we are feeling right now...the sadness of losing your loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
We cannot say enough of what his friendship meant to us..his kindness, his smile, his joking around, his love for everyone around him will never be forgotten.
Jose Luis we know you are watching over us and God took you too early..we guess he needed you more than we did but we were not done. YOu will be forever in our hearts. You were a great person and a great friend..even though we are not related by blood but we were and will always be family...we will be there for your family.
No more suffering our friend..may you rest in peace and we know that you are in a better place...
Love you and will miss you dearly,
Marcelino, Lilia, Michael and Carlinhos Carreiro

Dear Jose Luis, I still can't believe you are gone. I know you are in a better place with God and no longer suffering. I looked up to you on so many levels and will always have so much respect for you. I will never forget the camping and snow trips together and you calling my name in a funny, high pitched voice. The world will not be the same without you. Thank you for being a part of our lives during the time you were here with us. You will be forever missed and never forgotten.
