Obituary For Josefita Maria Marquez
Born on August 27th, 1917 in New Mexico, and entered into rest on April 9th, 2017 in Oroville, CA at the age of 99. Predeceased by her husband Manuel Marquez Jr. in 1956; and children: George Archuleta, Rachel Archuleta, Thomas R. Marquez, and Dorothy Gonzale. Survived by her children: Alfred R. Marquez (Elizabeth) of Oroville, and Ramon Marquez of Nevada; and many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 24th, from 8:30-10am at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 24th, 10:30am at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Ave., Newark, CA 94560. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Livermore, CA.
