Obituary For Joseph Paes Figueiredo
Joe is survived by his wife of 65 years Betty, daughter Kathy, sons Robert and Kenneth, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, Brother Manuel Figueiredo & sister Lucy Figueiredo. Proceeding him in heaven, are his parents Joao and Concepcion De Figueiredo, son Edward Figueiredo, great grandson Hunter Yapp, sister Mary Figueiredo, and brothers Tony, David & Daniel Figueiredo.
Joe worked as a plumber for local union 342, retired and worked at Home Depot in Newark. He was an Army vet in the Korean War, a dedicated member of Holy Spirit Church, and took pride in the Portuguese community being a member of Knights of Columbus, and IDES. Joe loved camping, working on cars, going on cruises and spending time with all his family. Joe loved being a Papa to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Joe is dearly loved by his family and miss so much already.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 25, 12pm at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd. in Fremont. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the family via Venmo: @itsamberlove.
