Entered into rest on January 19, 2013 in Fremont, CA at the age of 93. Beloved mother of Alice Garcia Pagano and her husband Ralph, and Margie Goelz and her husband Steve. Loving grandmother to Luis Ibarra and his wife Laura, Yessenia Ibarra and her husband Gustavo Velasquez, Mario Sanchez and his wife Melissa, Rachel Everett and her husband Jamel, Tito Garcia, Tanya Garcia, and Myra Garcia Mroz and her husband Darrin. Caring great-grandmother to Ramiro, Rico, Romeo, Reyna, Leila, Kaeo, Kaia, Tyce, Selina, Adina, Tony, and Hanna. Also survived by the Naranjo, Carrillo, Milan, and Alatorre families. Predeceased by her sons Enrique Garcia, and Ruben Garcia.

Born on March 19, 1919 in Cocula, Jalisco, Mexico, Josephine always had a strong Catholic faith. She loved dancing and music. She especially enjoyed her friends at the senior centers.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 28, 5:30pm at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.
