Kathern was my big sister nine years older than me. She loved me but I could be the pesky little sister. She said I always had to practice the piano when it was time to do the dishes. I always thought she was so pretty, with those dimples. She was always so fashion conscious. When I was able to go to San Francisco for a work assignment she came and stayed with me at my hotel on Fisherman's Wharf. We had a ball. I saw her for the last time in 2008. When Bob and her travelled to Branson, Mo. I will treasure the memories of our times together my lovely sister. May God comfort her partner Bob and his family. May God comfort my nieces Tammy and Sandy and their families. So sorry for our loss. Rest in peace my dear sister.

I will miss your beautiful smile. One of my fondest memories is spending the summer with the family and feeling so welcomed and loved. I hope your beautiful memories will help you find peace in your time of grief. Our love to the family. Love, Gwyn....(niece)

The staff at the Pleasanton Senior Center offers its condolences to Kathern's family and loved ones. We always enjoyed seeing Kathern and Bob at the Center and she was a friend to many, especially the lunch crowd. We will miss her. I'm so sorry for your loss. There is a scripture that gives me comfort. It's found at Acts 26:19. I hope this also brings you comfort. Once again I am sorry for your loss

Kathy - I will always remember your smile when you saw me and your offer to let me have a bath in your walk in bathtub. I can never see one that I don't think of you. Thank you for your kindness and love. Judy Burt

I was just a young teenager when Kathy and Jimmy were married and had those beautiful twin girls, it was quite a special event in the family. The twins were as pretty as Kathy. We were all sad when they moved away. I remember Kathy as being pretty and with a wonderful smile and those dimples we all wanted. My condolences to Sandy and Tammy and their familes. Diana (King) Strebe (cousin)
