Obituaries

Kathleen Morris, 68, of Fremont, Ca, died January 3, 2015, with her family at her side. Kathleen retired from East Bay MUD in 2012. After her retirement, she was able to spend time doing the things she loved, most importantly spending time with her granddaughter, Gemma Morris.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Robert Joplin, of Fremont and her son Erik Morris. She is also survived by her sisters: Patricia Viola of Aromas, Virginia McLeod of Sonoma, Lynn Miller of San Jose, and Eileen Marxen of Sacramento.

Services will be held at Fremont Chapel of the Roses on Thursday at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society Silicon Valley.

In lieu of flowers, Kathleen had requested white flowers/floral arrangements.
