Obituary For Larry Niel Heard
Larry N. Heard went home to be with Jesus, June 7, 2015, after finishing his fight with cancer.
He was an avid pilot, swing dancer, cook and gardener among other things. His long and varied career involved graphic illustration, nursing and program/project management within the high-tech industry.
Larry will be most remembered as an encourager and friend to all he met. He was active in his church, serving on the prayer team and co-leading a small group. Larry leaves behind his wife, Tammy, and a host of much-loved family and friends.
The memorial service will be held July 18th, 1:00 pm at Harbor Light Church, 4760 Thornton Ave., Fremont. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Project Rescue in his honor. Please see ProjectRescue.com for details.

Tammy, I didn't even know that Larry was ill, but I saw today on Facebook that he had passed. I just remember him and his eyes lighting up when he talked of flying and he talked of you and of course, when he talked of the Lord. May God Comfort you and wrap his big arms around you!!

Larry was the kind of son-in-law every mother wishes for their daughter, full of love for everyone (including his mother-in-law), kind and grateful to have a loving wife. He never said good-bye with out saying he loved you and how much he loved Tammy. I will miss him so much even though I know he is in a better place. Love you Larry, Mom
