Obituary For Laura K. Hernandez
Laura was called by our Lord on January 2, 2024 at the age of 46. She is survived by her parents, Ruben and Rebecca Hernandez of Pleasanton. Laura will be deeply missed by all her uncles, aunts, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Laura was born at Washington Hospital in Fremont on February 12, 1977. She completed the Early Childhood Development Program at Chabot College and Los Positas College. She enjoyed working with children and was a preschool teacher for most of her adult life. She was a 49ers and A’s fan. Laura was very independent, caring, and giving person. She will always be with us and we will always miss her.
The family would like to thank all of those that were so kind to her over the years. Bless you all.

I have no words to express the sorrow and sadness in my heart. You were such a beautiful, smart, sweet, caring and loving young woman. We will miss you but we will see each other again. My sweet niece/Goddaughter, I can't believe that I am writing on your page at this moment. You are such a bright light in this world and that will never change! you were the first niece of the family and we were so excited when you arrived. Such a funny sweet little girl and then a young woman! We enjoyed your company at all your ages and enjoyed the time you would spend at our home, you said once you liked staying over because Uncle Art made good breakfast. I was happy when you would tell me that you thought of me when you heard a certain song or a singer, I think it was because we were always playing music at the house. Thank you for the love and kindness you always showed. You are a lot like your mom and your dad, especially you have your mom's sense of humor! Your life has continued in the presence of our LORD and all the family members who were waiting to welcome you, what a beautiful homecoming that must have been! Until we see each other again. LOVE YOU ALWAYS!

We find ourselves with out words to describe the feeling of loss. What we are left with at this moment are an abundance of memories of your birth, your childhood and adulthood.
