  My dear friend is such a blessing to me. I met Laverne in Oakland when she lived on Fairview across from the cemetery. John Kainoa and Auntie lived down the street. I can't remember how old we were? We played volleyball at the school across the street from Loards Ice cream. Laverne was the bestest server. I cherished all the moments we had together. Warren, Puggey, Straightey, Nani, Mapu. I love you Laverne, 4-ever in my heart. I'll see you again. Me ke Aloha my friend. I love you!
