Tia was a strong beautiful woman. She would always give me straight foward advice when I was young. She and my mom, Joyce her sister, went yearly to the Gilroy Garlic Festival and I loved hearing how much fun my mom had with her there. I believe they're both dancing in heaven now.

My sweet aunt has been a part of my life from baby to adult. She told me how and why I had the nick name Tootsie. You see my mom was trying to stop breastfeeding me and so she ask her sister to help. Well my aunt would rock me and sing Toots toots tootsie don’t cry. And Tootsie was my name until I became an adult. Then she comforted me as I went through tough losses. I remember calling her sobbing and she would talk me back to normal. Then we started our Sunday evening calls talking about the world happenings or memories of past. To say I will miss her is an understatement. My hope my prayers is she is at peace and reunited with our family who are in heaven. Forever loved and forever missed... my beautiful Aunt Lillith Love Rita (Tootsie) Purdue
