Obituary For Linda Roxann King

"Roxie", a vibrant, loving and nurturing woman, was taken from her family Saturday, August 4th. Roxie was born February 20th, 1952 in Oakland, CA, graduated from Irvington High School and earned a degree from Front Range College in Westminster, CO.

She will be forever loved by her husband and best friend of 32 years, Ian King, their two daughters, Jennifer and Kimberly, Kim's husband Jeff, her sister Victoria and husband Norman, brother Clyde T. "Tommy" Hudson II and wife Annette, as well as many nieces and nephews. Roxie and Ian married September 6th, 1980, traveled the world together and returned to Fremont where they lived the past 14 years. Roxie began her working life as a cosmetologist in her family's business, sharing and laughing with her sisters and mother; she then devoted herself to raising her children and being the foundation of our family. Roxie ultimately returned to work, where she found much joy in exercising her passion for helping others at the State of California in the Department of Labor.

"Roxie the world will go on, but a lot of our joy has left us until we can be together again. We're glad you were born! You are loved!!!"

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 11th. Please contact the funeral home for more information.
