Dear Lola, We have loving, fond memories of our Family Get Together for Summer BBQ's; Thanksgiving Dinners and Christmas Celebrations at your house. We appreciate the invitations to the Chinese Association's sumptuous Banquet Dinners. Every Christmas we put out the 5 snow men that you have knitted for our family. The Knitted American Flag is out on July 4th; Labor Day and Flag Day. The beautiful Afghan Blankets that you knitted throughout the years gives us warmth. The Oil Paintings you have created are hanging on our walls. They are all memories of you. We are thankful and grateful that you have been part of our lives. With Love, Rosalie, Ken & Family

I will miss Aunty Lola's generosity, as we were all recipients of it in some form or another..whether through her paintings, beautiful knitted or crocheted items, furnishings, food and drink, etc.,She was always happy to give! As an art teacher I was received some very cool, one-of-kind items from her (thanks to Brookdale's "white elephant" give aways.) My students were always thrilled with the materials: ribbons, sequins, fabric and the like! She warmed right up to our grandson, Vinton, who threw himself happily on her lap, when he first met her a year ago! She said, "Oh, you're heavy!" (But you could tell that she really didn't mind.:relieved:) Anyway, may you rest in God's peace and comfort, Aunty Lola. We'll miss you. Love, Laura and Rich
