Obituaries

Lorraine passed away peacefully on Feb. 10, 2015. She had been cared for very lovingly at Isherwood Care Facility for the past eleven plus years by caregivers Zora and Larry Cayabyab. She was the only child of William and Georgiana Fransen. Lorraine was a native of San Francisco where she lived until she met and married her first husband Erwin Seifert, who preceded her in death in 1983. Erwin and Lorraine lived in the San Jose area. She held several different types of jobs until she went to work for the Department of Motor Vehicles. She retired after 25 years. Lori met and married her second husband William M. Clark in 1969. He also preceded her in death in 1989. Lori and Bill moved to Fremont where she continued to reside until her passing. Lori had a passion for journaling. Something she did almost on a daily basis until she could no longer physically write. She also had a passion for dancing. She so enjoyed ballroom, line and tap dancing. She started tap lessons after the passing of Bill. Lori and Bill loved to travel, which became another passion. They traveled the world from China to Egypt from Europe to Australia and visited most of the United States. Lori is survived by her daughter Melodie (Mike), son Richard (Renee), grandsons Jeffrey and Sean, granddaughter Romel (Jonathan), great-grandsons Christian, Joshua, Caleb, niece Maggie plus many extended family members and friends. A private family graveside service will be held Feb. 18th at Mission City Memorial Park.
