Obituaries

Born December 12, 1949 in Oakland, California and entered into rest on May 28, 2015 in Fremont, California at the age of 65. Survived by his wife, Gloria Silva; his children: Pete Avila, Loreno Avila, Lydia Sanchez, and Dana Silva, 18 grandchildren, 6 brothers and 7 sisters.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 1, from 4-8pm with a Vigil at 6:30pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 2, 10am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 43148 Mission Blvd., Fremont, CA 94539.
