Obituary For Manuel Nunes Bastiao
Born April 19, 1919 in Ilhavo, Portugal, and entered into rest on June 30, 2012 in Hayward at the age of 93. Beloved father of Antonio Bastiao and his wife Lorena, Jose Bastiao, and Rui Bastiao. Treasured grandfather of Daniel, Philip, Natalie and her husband Tiago, Robert, and Mark. Proud great-grandfather of Sophia. Cherished uncle of Maria Huezo. Preceded in death by his wife Beatriz Bastiao in 1978.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 9, from 5-8pm at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Vigil starts at 6:30pm and Funeral Mass starts at 7pm. Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 11am at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 2560 Church Lane, San Pablo, CA 94806.
