I used to be a 2.0 student. After taking Prof. Komrosky's class I developed into a 3.5. He not only taught his students to motivate in the business world, he himself was a motivator and a icon to all students. His entertaining lectures, his witty jokes, all made him a man others could easily admire. Thank you for what you did for me. I do not doubt others feel the same, many others.

This is to Professor Komrosky.
To be honest, I had a very brash first impression of you. I still do! But that was one of the many great things about you as a professor and as a person. You told things as you saw it and never tried to sugar coat your thoughts or beliefs. You, as a professor and mentor, challenged my views of learning and the practicality of what I normally take for granted. Simply for that, I thank you for helping me grow as a man and engineer.
I'll still remember you as the strong-opinioned, gun loving, chemistry playing, HR hating man that helped shape both my views and me to who I am today.
You will be missed.

I deeply regret that I will not be able to attend the service. To his family: may you find comfort at this time. Nikolaus & Tanya, I feel lucky that he introduced us -- it was so easy to see why he absolutely adored his family.

Sorry for the loss. Our families had a lot of good times together. I wish we had known earlier and express our feeling in person to Marleen and family. Everyone was so kind and gracious. Words cannot express our sorry.

I was (grade-school age) close friends with Marc, his brothers and sisters... entire family actually. We lost touch over the years, and I'm sorry to learn of his passing. Hearing that he became a teacher and obviously poured into many lives is encouraging however! Time well spent. GregD

I haven't seen Komrosky in years so it feels as if he is still on this plane of existence; it's hard for me to imagine he has gone on to the next Emanation.
I could still remember going to class and learning the business side of Industrial Engineering. His lectures were captivating with real world applications. He made time for office hours even though he was clearly busy.
He was not only a great instructor but also a good friend. He would always hang out with us (the students) in as many IIE functions as he could and frequently host some of his own. He really had a way of bring people together; and he also had a way of bringing out the best in each student he mentored. He will be missed! -CS

You were one of the best professors I've ever had, a great mentor, and friend. Thanks for all the great times we shared whether it be in class, discussing senior project, going to the I.I.E conferences, and get togethers for our Spring Picnics. Without you, none of it would have been the same. We learned a lot from you, not just about ISE, but about business, life, and living it to the fullest. You will most definitely be missed, and never forgotten. Rest in Paradise ?
My deepest condolences to the family.

Mark Komrosky was a great professor. He went above and beyond his duties. He actually set me up with my first job interview after college. I will never forget the Gordon Biersch outing we had after class. You will be missed.
