Obituary For Maria Berta de Oliveira
Born on April 26th, 1943 in Faial, Azores, and entered into rest on March 13th, 2016 in Fremont, CA at the age of 72. Survived by her husband Alexandre de Oliveira; children: Maria Regina, Paulo, and Lisa; grandchildren: Christopher, Naomi, Kayla, Joshua, Hailey, Ethan, Dylan, Julius, and Antonio; and siblings: Celeste, Mario, and Ligia.
Maria Berta had many passions including her love for Jesus and her family. She was a blessing to anyone who had the opportunity to be part of her life. She spent her pass time reading, playing slots at the casino, and cooking for her family. She had an immense love for her children and grandchildren whom she would do anything for. Her husband was the absolute love of her life and they shared 49 beautiful years together.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17th, from 5-8pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, March 18th, 11:30am at the funeral home. Burial will follow to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.

I want to send my love and prayers for the family of Maria. She was the most kind and loving person and so hospitable. She welcomed me with open arms. Most of all, I knew that she loved the Lord and she radiated that. I will miss my Maria. I only know that everything is wonderful for her now. She is now safe in the loving arms of her Jesus.

Maria was a caring and loving woman. She was a good friend to my Mom and Dad throughout my Dad's illness. Now Maria and my Dad are both with our Father in Heaven. Maria was a special woman because she raised beautiful and loving children. Thank you Maria.
