Obituary For Maria D. Almeida
Born August 10, 1930 in Terceira, Portugal and entered into rest on April 23, 2018 in Fremont, CA at the age of 87. Survived by her husband Joe G. Almeida, and daughter Matilda Santos. Preceded by son Joe Almeida in 2013. Loving Grandmother of Ryan, Derick, Daniel, and Kevin. Great Grandmother of Brianna, Scarlett, Savannah, Dylan, and Brooklyn. Mother in law to Ida Almeida and Carlos Santos. A vigil will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018, 6:30 PM at Fremont Chapel of the Roses – 1940 Peralta Blvd. Fremont, CA. Funeral Mass will be take place Tuesday, May 1, 2018, 10:30 AM at St. Edward’s Catholic Church – 5788 Thornton Ave, Newark, CA. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery – 26320 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA.
