Obituaries

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maria da Gloria Garcia. She was 96 years old. She leaves behind daughters, Mary Jo Saca (John), Bernadette Teixeira (Michael), and son, Joe F. Garcia. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Greg Saca (Mary), Ryan Saca (Cody), Chris Teixeira, Alyssa Teixeira, and great-grandson, Samuel Saca, along with many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, Jose Oliveira Garcia and sister Ana Garcia Pinheiro.

Born in Salao, Faial Azores, to Maria da Gloria and Jose Garcia da Rosa. She loved to travel, was an avid sports fan, an excellent seamstress, loved to crochet and bake. She will be dearly missed.
