Obituary For Maria L. Torres
Entered into rest on May 12, 2013 at her home in Union City, CA surrounded by her family. Age 85. Predeceased by her husband Gilbert Torres and her sons: Gilbert Torres Jr., Eugene Torres, John Torres, David Torres, and Richard Torres. Survived by her daughters: Catherine Shepard of Greenfield, MO, Anita Williams of Hayward, and Helen Parnala of Union City; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her sister Nickie Hoffert; and several nieces and nephews.
Born Novemebr 22, 1927 in Eagle Lake, MN, Maria enjoyed quilting and donating the quilts she made to organizations for fundraising.
Services and burial will be held in Greenfield, MO.
