Entered into rest on June 19, 2012 in Tuolumne at the age of 86. Beloved mother of Manuel Silva and his wife Veronica of Atwater, Tony Silva and his wife Gerri of Ceres, and Eddie Silva of Tuolumne. Grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 8. Cherished sister of Gabriela Luis, and Marta Da Silva. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Born on April 30, 1926 in Faial, Azores to Francisco Medieros and Francisca Dutra.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 25, 5-8pm with a vigil at 7pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 26, 10:30am at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Ave., Newark, CA 94560. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
