Obituaries

Odete Oliver passed away on June 23, 2024 in Fremont, California. She was born in the village of Pedro Miguel, Faial, Azores and was 72 years old. She is survived by her son, Leonard and his fiance, Andrea, as well as daughter, Elizabeth, and her husband, Renatto. She also leaves grandchildren Andrew, Ashlee, Nathan, Natalie and siblings Joe Duarte, Liberio Duarte, Jose Alvarino Duarte, Paulina Silva and various nephews, nieces, godchildren, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Maria da Gloria Pinheiro and Jose Silveira Duarte, her brothers Eduino and Jose Alberto Duarte and grandson Angel Silva.

Odete loved to visit Half Moon Bay, garden, enjoy a good meal, and spend time with her beloved grandchildren, family and friends. Her kindness and smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
