Obituary For Maria Reyes Anaya
Born February 22, 1928 in Los Angeles, CA, and entered into rest on January 30, 2013 in Modesto, CA at the age of 84. Beloved mother of Margaret Uriarte and her husband Heriberto of Modesto, Silvia Sandoval and her husband Jose of San Jose, and Juanita Anaya-Lopez and her husband Allen of Fremont. Grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 12. Cherished sister of Juanita Madrigal of Union City, Ruth Castro of Hayward, and Enrique Aguilar and his wife Cristina of Mexico. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Eleno Anaya on October 14, 2007.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 4, from 5-8pm with a Vigil at 6:30pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 5, 11am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 40382 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
