We are so sad to hear of Mrs. Shaner's passing. She was the beloved third grade teacher for both of our daughters. Our favorite assignments included the daily journal that the students kept. Her thought points were very creative and I'm sure she got a chuckle out of many of the responses. I know we did. We will always remember her and Mr. Shaner with great fondness and can take peace in knowing that they are finally reunited with their daughter in heaven. The Morales family

I was very sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Shaner. She was such a kind and generous person. We have lovely memories of her. She was a wonderful teacher and made every student feel loved, important, special and successful.. We still have the notes and comments she would write on our children's reports and journals. She was the perfect third grade teacher to our twin daughters. Once she called to say how marvelous she thought their book reports were. She and Carl came to see our girls dance in the Nutcracker one year. She brought bouquets and made a special event even more so! Our children became more confident under her tutelage. We were all so sorry for the sadness she had after the death of her daughter. She was a lovely person. We were so very fond of her. Sincere and heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends.
