Obituary For Michael David Govnik
Born April 15th, 1952 in Oakland, CA, and entered into rest on April 16th, 2015 in Livermore, CA at the age of 63. Survived by his wife Diana Govnik of Livermore, CA.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 24th, 11am at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.

It was a blast growing up with Mike from 4th grade on to adult life. He was the perfect example of what best friend means. We did everything together. My favorite memories are those when we were riding our 10 speed bikes. We went everywhere. It was our first brush with freedom and we were fanatics. I moved across town, miles away and still we would meet in the middle and ride the rest of the way to each otherâs house. It was the best of times. Mike had a great relationship with his father. They worked together in the family business and they were hilarious to be around. They loved each other even though sometimes you had to wonder the way they teased each other. Mike was a great friend to me and has been a positive influence on my family. He is missed. John Williams
