Michael Eugene Fink entered into rest on March 19, 2015 in Newark, CA at the age of 63. He is survived by his son, Vincent of Milpitas; his sister, Sharon of Peoria, AZ; and his companion for 5 years, Hailani Valle.
Michael Eugene Fink was born on May 2, 1951 to Harold and Geraldine Fink in Grand Rapids, MI. He worked in the Semi Conductor Industry for various companies for 35 years and retired April 2014. Michael loved Hawaii and the Hawaiian Culture and learned how to speak in what we call pidgeon language. He attended Hailani’s family reunion in March 2010 on the Island of Maui and soon after returning to Newark decided to relocate and purchase a place on the Island of Hawaii. He enjoyed tinkering on Chrysler's. He owned and restored a 1964 – 300 K Car and a Plymouth Belvedere. Michael enjoyed being surrounded by friends which he dearly valued. He loved bowling, golfing and beer but not necessarily in that order.
He is certainly loved and will be missed. Knowing well that the Word of God says, “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”

Mike will be truly missed. I've had the privilege and honor of knowing and being Mike's friend for the last 30 years. He was one of my closest friends. We shared our stories and dreams may times over the last 30 years, and even more lately with his retirement and planned move to Hawaii. To call Mike a friend is an understatement, I love you, man!

Condolences to Mike's family and friends. I enjoyed our conversations when we worked together at Lam Research and was lucky to get the opportunity to drink beer and play golf with Mike which I enjoyed thoroughly.
Rest in peace Mike you'll be missed by many.

"What we lose per unit, we'll make up for in volume!!" Then, Mike's infectious, boisterious laughter. This was just one of Mike's querky observations for the way we did things at work. You are already deeply missed, Mike. Adieu.

No words can describe how sad it was to hear of Mikes passing. I had known Mike since the early '80s and had the pleasure of working with him at several companies. Mike could always put a smile on my face and was a true friend I will greatly miss. Although he could be quite ornery at times, Mike and I had a special bond where he cut me quite a bit of slack. My condolences to Mike's family. We lost one of the true "Good ones".
He will always be in my memories and will not be forgotten.

It is so sad!
Mike is always willing to offer helps to others and I still remember his first advice to me when I first started at Lam 19 years ago. Mike's laughter and humors will truely be missed.
Rest in Peace!

This is very sad and troubling news. Mike was one of the nicest guy I have ever met and had the privilege to work with. He was always there to help. I will miss his smile, laugh, and of course, his trademark black cowboy boots. Peace be with you my friend.

I remember the time Mike walked up to me and told me that as he was opening the door of his truck the wind caught it and bang my truck door. Mike said that he called out a mobile dent fix it guy to have it repaired. It cost Mike $150 out of pocket; I told him he didn't need to do that but he insisted. I remember thinking how few people would ever voluntarily admit to denting your car door and then paying for it! Mike truly had integrity of character. He is missed by his fellow coworkers and friends.

I will miss running into Mike and getting a dose of laughter. He helped me way back when I was a greenhorn Tech Writer in the 90s. He was so patient and helped me understand all that hardware stuff! Rest in Peace Mike.
