Mildred Amaral, 91, passed away Friday December 13, 2013 in Klamath Falls, OR.

She was born at home on September 21, 1922 in what was then Centerville, CA, graduated from Washington High School and Healds Business School and then opened the first women’s apparel shop in Centerville, Mildred’s Apparel.

Mildred married Lester Amaral in 1942 and they spent their 70 years of married life together in Fremont.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan Amaral Sees of Beatty, OR.

Mildred enjoyed painting and her many dogs that she had throughout her life.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 10am at Holy Spirit Cemetery, 5120 Central Ave., Fremont, CA 94536.
