Obituary For Molly Lucero Munoz

Born October 27, 1940 in Roswell, New Mexico, Molly passed away peacefully Friday, July 20, 2012 while under the loving care of her devoted family. Molly first arrived in California in 1952 where she began working in agriculture, and ultimately in electronic manufacturing. Known as a humble and compassionate person who loved her family unconditionally, Molly always considered her children and grandchildren her greatest success in life. She will always be remembered for her open heart, understanding ear, loving embrace, and great sense of humor. She was known for her excellent cooking and will be eternally famous for her refried beans. Although Molly will be greatly missed, she will be forever remembered by her 6 children, Juan, Rafael, Fernando, Aurora, Dolores, and Gerardo Loera, her 27 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, her brother Bill Muñoz, her two sisters, Lupe Lucero, and Jewel Solis, along with, many nephews, and nieces, and extended family.

A memorial celebration will be held at Harvey West Park in Santa Cruz on Saturday, July 28 at Noon. The interment of her ashes will occur on Monday July 30, at 11am at Holy Cross Cemetery in Santa Cruz.
