Nancy Repine passed peacefully on Oct 22, 2015 at her home at the age of 86. She is survived by her sons Jeff Repine (Mary) of Livermore, her son Dan Repine of Fremont, and her grandson David Repine of Walnut Creek.

Born and raised in Millersburg, OH to Blanche and James Close (deceased) Nancy received her Bachelor’s degree from Miami University, Ohio in nutrition. She served her internship and worked for several years as a dietitian at The Ohio State University hospital. Nancy married Robert Repine in 1955 and had two sons. The family moved from Ohio to Montana, and then settled in Fremont, California in 1966 where Nancy continued her career as a dietitian at Stanford University Hospital. Nancy returned to college in 1968 and received her teaching credential from San Jose State University. She spent the remaining years of her career as a teacher in the Newark Unified School District and spent many of those years at Newark Junior High teaching 7th and 8th grade English.

Nancy was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Miami University Alumni Association. Nancy spent her retirement years traveling the world and spending time with her family.
