Nina May Roraback, 69, passed away in her daughter Gina Montel's loving embrace on Tuesday, February 5th at Kaiser ICU in Fremont. Nina was the second twin born on September 14, 1943 to Douglas and Mary Gertrude (Coley) Roraback.

In 1961, Nina graduated high school with her twin sister, Loretta Loftis, from Amador Valley High in Pleasanton. She worked for several years at the Pacific Telephone Company in Hayward and ended her career as a security officer when she turned 65.

Nina was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease in June 2011 and at the time of her untimely death was residing at Aegis Living of Fremont. She was a kind and gentle soul who loved being around children and the companionship of animals. She also enjoyed gardening in her yard and listening to country music.

At Nina's request, she will be cremated. Her daughter will be holding a Celebration of Life at their house in Fremont on Saturday, February 16th, 3pm. Gina is asking in lieu of flowers, that a contribution be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Nina's dear sweet memory.
