Obituary For Olga Gronley Brask

Born in Centerville, CA to Arnt R. Gronley and Petra Gronley of Norway.

She is survived by her loving children Patty Brask-Herren of Centerville, and Wayne E. Brask of Centerville, her grandchildren Sean, Petra, Jared, Heather, Gwen, and Alex, and her great-grandchildren Ryan and Ellie, as well as many nephews and nieces who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Brask, her daughter Sandy, and all her siblings: Paulie, Judy, John, Lorry, and Karen.

Mom took great pride in being a graduate of Washington Union High School where she was a top tennis player. She and dad would tease each other about him being a grad of Amador of Pleasanton and a Swede and she was Norwegian. As we all were Washington grads, dad was outnumbered.

The most important things in mom's life were God, her family, and the Centerville Presbyterian Church. She was also a devoted patriot, and loved this country.

She is a treasure to us and is missed.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, from 10am-12pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Graveside Service to follow at 1pm at Pioneer Cemetery, 5780 Sunol Blvd., Pleasanton, CA 94566. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2:30pm at Centerville Presbyterian Church, 4360 Central Ave., Fremont, CA 94536.

She was a dear, sweet presence in my life -- one of the kindest people I've had the privilege to know and love. She will be greatly missed.
