Entered into rest on May 30, 2012 in Fremont at the age of 85. Loving mother to Jane Anderson and her husband Bart, and Sean Chase. Caring grandmother to Rebecca Snow and her husband Isaac, Patrick Anderson, and Mandy Anderson. Doting great-grandmother of Aiden Snow. Beloved sister of Joseph Fanjul and his wife Lynn. Predeceased by her husband Jerry Chase, son Dennis Chase, sisters Imelia, Anita, and Emily, and brothers Mal, Ray, and Bill.

Born July 18, 1926 in Gary, IN, Olivia grew up in San Leandro and attended San Leandro High School. She worked a number of jobs, ending up at Kellogg's, where she met her husband Jerry. After retiring, they traveled and had great adventures. Olivia enjoyed her many hobbies, including gardening and sewing. She loved her family and grandchildren and had a special love of animals which led her to foster them when she could.

At Olivia's request no services will be held. Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Northern California and Northern Nevada, 1060 La Avenida St., Mountain View, CA 94043.
