Obituary For Osana Futi

Entered into rest on April 29, 2012 in San Jose at the age of 18. Survived by his mother Seipua Futi of American Samoa, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters. Beloved nephew of Soli and Laau Ieremia of Newark. Treasured cousin of Michael, Foga, Keanna, Tino, and Marc. Also survived by his uncles Mikey, Byrd, Tino, and Paul and all of their families. Loving grandson to Pai, grandma Sao.

Born March 27, 1994 in American Samoa, Osana was a senior at Newark Memorial High School in Newark. He participated in both football and wrestling at the school. He was a dedicated football player and was planning on playing at Chabot College in Hayward in the fall. He was greatly loved by the Newark community and will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 10th, from 5-8pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 11th at 6pm at Newark Memorial High School, 39375 Cedar Blvd., Newark, CA 94560. He will be laid to rest in Pago Pago, American Samoa.

    Boy or boy what a rough couple days. Osana in your 18 yrs, 8 of them in Newark you made a big impression on us all. I hope that you are at peace and will be watching over all who loved you. I will make damn sure I finish what we set out to do. You will graduate kid and everyone watching will know your at the head of your class PS watch over Jesse and keep him safe please.
