Obituaries

Patricia Velasco entered into rest on July 6, 2025 at age 90. She is survived by her brother Paul, sons Glenn and Curtis, daughter Debra, son-in-law Richard, daughter-in-law Margit, three beloved grandchildren: Christopher, Alec, and Britta, and great grandson Cristo.

A native of Westwood, Massachusetts, she moved to the Bay Area in 1972, after living the life of a military spouse, and was stationed in different parts of the world including Germany, Guam, Bermuda, and various bases in the United States. She and her husband, Ed, both served in the U.S. Air Force. Always busy, she was a substitute teacher, Red Cross volunteer, Family Service volunteer, Marnee Jones model, and a volunteer at El Camino Hospital. She loved gardening, and was a long standing member of the Green Thumb Garden Club in Milpitas, serving as VP and treasurer for several years. She will be truly missed, and remembered as an adventurous, curious, artistic, and long time friend to all.
