Obituary For Patricia Arlene Weaver

WEAVER, PATRICIA ARLENE LE NARZ died at home in Fremont, May 6, 2013. A native of Lodi, Ohio, born December 14, 1931, age 81. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jay Weaver, and is survived by daughters Geraldine (Silas) Parker, Pat Weaver Boelter, Carol (Anton) Weaver-Madsen, and son Richard (Shannon) Weaver; also survived by 11 precious grandchildren, Patty, Jon, Aaron, Cheryl, Sonny, Dagmar, Sonja, Halley, Keith, Alana and Paulina. Doting great-grandmother to Kyle, Stormy, Greysen, Rhys, Zander and Patrick. Pat was the beloved daughter of Russell J. LeNarz Sr. and Frieda Martha Horner LeNarz of Lodi, Ohio (both deceased), and her brothers were Russell J. LeNarz Jr. (deceased), Richard LeNarz (deceased), and Tom LeNarz. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pat grew up in Los Angeles where she worked as a photographer before becoming a homemaker and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Pat's interests included her beloved home in Irvington, collecting antiques, gardening, tole painting, traveling to Hawaii, and exploring the Gold Country along California's Hwy 49 with her husband. After many years as a Navy wife, Pat moved to Fremont with her family in 1961 and put down roots, never again moving from her beloved home. The family particularly wishes to thank Shannon Weaver for her devoted care during Pat's final years as she became increasingly frail.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital (www.lpch.org) or KQED (www.kqed.org). The family also requests that you visit Patricia's online memorial page and sign the guestbook at www.fremontchapeloftheroses.com.

I shall always treasure the warmth of Pat and Jay Weaver. They were wonderful! They truly loved their family and would do anything for them. Even though I have not visited with any of the Weavers in years, I had the pleasure of communicating via email with Pat late last year and early this year thanks to daughter, Pat, who provided me with her email. I was thinking of Pat today and just discovered she had passed. Thank you Pat for the love and attention you so generously gave me. May God Bless you always. Love, Don

She talked about you with so much pride. I will never forget our chat that day. You have been in my thoughts and prayers since we were informed through the church. Though I have not personally met you, I have come to know a daughter of yours. Through her, I see the strength of a loving mother who has devoted herself to the commitment of her family and has raised her children well. You will not be forgotten by the ones who love you. May you forever rest in peace.
