Obituary For Patricia Louise Smith

Entered into rest on February 12, 2012 in Hayward at the age of 85. Preceded in death by her husband, Wesley H. Smith, on November 10, 1995. Loving mother to Gail Smith, Lois Ruane, and Craig Smith. Caring grandmother to Evan Ruane. Doting great-grandmother of Seth Ruane. Preceded in death by her brothers Robert Wiebe, Jack Wiebe, Donald Wiebe, and Kenneth Wiebe.

Born January 21, 1927 in Halstead, KS, Patricia was a supervisor at Mother's Cookies in Oakland for 9 years until 1966. She was an avid bowler and a poet. She really enjoyed poetry. Patricia was a member of the Fremont Art Association. She was a painter and also taught painting.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 19, 1pm at Mission Valley Church, 40546 Mission Blvd., Fremont, CA 94539. Inurnment will be at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine.
