Paul, we remember when us families, the Minnicus's, Schall's and us, would get together with you and Doris for dinner and once we went to a play in SF and us men were waiting for "half time" so that we could stretch out our legs. It was good times in our Sundale homes and our years at SFO United Air Lines . Rest in peace Paul. Pray for God's comfort for your family.

Paul will always be our beloved patriarch and all around good guy. I have known Paul for over 30 years as his son-in-law and I loved him like a father. Paul was extremely generous, kind and very humble in life. He loved to laugh and was always a good audience when joking around. He loved his family especially his grand children. I remember him holding our daughter in the palm of his large hand remarking how incredibly happy he was to welcome his granddaughter into the world. He never lost that memory and to his dying day made reference to it with us.
One rich memory was when we lived in Tustin, CA. I came into the house to hear loud giggling coming from upstairs. I went upstairs to find Lauryn and Lia playing tricks on Poppy. They has tied the door closed so that Poppy could not get out of the bedroom, as a joke. Poppy was playing with a dollar bill, giggling as he swiped it to and fro under the door with the girls trying to grab it. What fun they had doing things like that. Rich memories.
Life was challenging for Paul these last few years and we rejoice in his freedom from this earthly bondage to join our Lord. I know he is in heaven. He was good at his core - not perfect as none of us are - but really good. God bless you Paul Calabrese. God Bless You Poppy. We love you and will miss you terribly.
