Obituaries

Phyllis Thompson left this earth peacefully on December 2, 2022 with her daughter by her side. She was 90 years young. She is survived by her daughter, Bobbi Tafoya, grandsons, Ryan Thompson and Robert Tafoya and great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Titus, TJ, Trey and Annalise Thompson.

Phyllis was a generous, caring, strong woman who loved her family and her Lord. She was a faithful member of North Valley Baptist Church in Santa Clara, CA for over 30 years. She worked in the nursery ministry for over 20 years. Phyllis had many occupations throughout her life, she was a nurse, a bookkeeper, a sales associate, her last position was a registrar for Stanford Blood Bank. Most everything Phyllis did in life was for others. To make a better home and life for her family. She was creative and loved making special, personal gifts for her family and friends. She started making Christmas presents in the summer. She made life special and will be missed tremendously. It’s not good-bye though, we’ll see her again in Heaven.

A Funeral Service will be held on December 12, 2022 at 11:00am at North Valley Baptist Church, 3530 De La Cruz Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95054.

Phyllis would be honored if in lieu of flowers you make a donation to North Valley Baptist Church where she worshipped and served her Lord or the College of Adaptive Arts where her grandson, Robert attends.
