So touched by Natasha's poem Navaz! He did truly think of Natasha and Tanya as his own hand kids.

Dear Prem and Family,
I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Uncle. I would like to express our deepest condolences at this time and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
May you find comfort and know that you have all the great happy memories that you share that will live on forever in your hearts.
We have known Uncle for so long dating back to before I was married. We kept in touch when they visited you in the US. He was kind, caring and affectionate. We actually visited them in Chennai right after our wedding on our honeymoon in 1993 and uncle got us a nice cottage on the beach at the Taj hotel and helped us with booking air tickets back to Hyderabad. Those memories are still fresh in our minds. It is great to have remained in touch through the years and I appreciate talking to him just last November when we were all in Kenya.
With much love and sympathy,
Reddy Family Phoenix, AZ

Rangamama - a well learned, knowledged, kind and compassionate person. He was such a lovely person. His interest towards music and religious beliefs were his best traits. Whenever I met him, he was compassionate and always encouraged me to follow my passion. He was loved by all in the family and had great respect to him. Babymami, his soul companion led his hands through all along and I pray to god to give her immense strength to cope up her loss. I still remember how they both embraced me and Raghu after our wedding.. It was an overwhelming moment for us and we will definitely miss that. Even though you have reached the abode of the lords, you will never be forgotten in our minds Mama. Thank you for being our motivational spirit and you will be cherished in our memories always.
With deep regards,
Raghu and Vinatha.

It is difficult to accept that uncle is not with us any more. When I spoke to him on Sunday he asked me how Mukesh was doing. I told him that Mukesh was flying to India that night and he would swing by to see aunty and him before he let. So uncle replied that Mukesh doesn't have to rush that night since he was going to be here for the next several weeks! Life is so unpredictable! I'm glad Mukesh was able to meet him that evening.
Uncle had always been as fond of my Natasha as he was of his own grand children. He would call her on her birthday from India, when I would go to their house alone, he would always ask me why Natasha had not accompanied me and when Tanvi would be at our house he would come to see Natasha on the pretext of picking up Tanvi!
I want to share this small poem that Natasha wrote for him:
**************************************************
He may not be here physically
But he will forever remain in my heart.
He was such a great person
Ever since the start,
And it pains me to hear that a person so dear
Finally had to depart.
**************************************************
May God give you guys the strength to bear this loss and may his soul rest in peace.

Words fail to describe the sudden loss and the grief that we feel by periappa's /anna's sudden demise. Our thoughts are filled with his actions and our talks. The last time he played with our son at his place is replaying in our minds. We cherish the times we saw him interacting with our children and nephews. The pose he strikes by sitting in the sofa chair and watching tv at chari street is ever etched in our minds. We pray God to give the strength to Periamma, Prem ,Manni and kids to come through this phase.
With fond and loving memories of Periappa / Anna/ Thatha

In our extended family Rangamama for me has been the eternal Patriarch, a father figure. My earliest memory of him was seeing him walking in his blue Airforce uniform and I used to think him an Airline pilot with wings on his shoulder. I was 7 then. Over the years he was always there
; presiding over the chaos & the quiet always maintaining his dignified silence and giving wise judgement in matters of need. As I have grown older, I seem to have started to understand him better,
His quite humour and religious discipline ; characters for me to follow and apply them in my life. He has been a great support to my mother in hours of need.
For all this reasons Rangamama will always be in my thoughts forever
