Richard Dale Wiles of Fremont, Calif. passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. He was born in Morgantown, WV to Lawrence and Anabelle Wiles on August 1, 1946. He moved to Fremont in Dec. 2021 with his wife Sue Cox.

Richard grew up in Morgantown, WV as part of a large family of six siblings, three boys and three girls. He was preceded in death by his companion of many years, Marge Pollock. Also proceeding him in death was his parents, Lawrence and Anabella Wiles, his brothers William Frank Wiles and his wife Malise (Pixie), and Robert Lawrence Wiles and his wife Nancy. Also his sisters Betty Jane Province and her husband Charles (Buck), and Priscillla Alice Walden. His wife, Sue Cox, and remaining sister, Margaret Anne Walden, are still living. There will be no funeral
